ACYC is now an officially recognized RYA Shore Based Training Centre and is now running theory courses from our premises. Click here to see our page on the RYA website.
Our courses are open to members and non-members and apply equally to sail boats and power boats. They are shore-based courses and will be invaluable to people who have their own power boat but have never gone through any formal navigation and/or safety training.
Currently three shore-based course are offered. Click on the links below to download pdf prospectus:
Students who successfully complete a course will receive an RYA certificate, which will be recognized world-wide. Students keep the shore based learning packs and Almanac.
A minimum of three students are needed to run the course.
