LONG TIME ACYC MEMBER TONY KNIGHT PASSES ON

It is with great regret I have to inform you that Tony Knight passed away on February 8, 2011.

TonyHe had a motocycle accident on Friday and seemed not too bad but his condition deteriorated over the next few days as we believe his lung or spleen was punctured. He ended up being airlifted to a Brisbane hospital where he passed away in the intensive care unit.

Tony has many close friends in Phuket and was a vital asset in the Ao Chalong Yacht Club for over a decade as committee member, race officer and MC. He will be sadly missed for his kindness, his wit and easy going nature.

Tony is survived by his wife Ming, son Raymond, twin daughters Nit and Noi and eight month old daughter Elisabeth.

If you know Tony, please come to the Yacht Club on Saturday the 19th from 6PM onwards for a Wake.

Regards
Mick Kealy
Commodore
